Footprint: A Case Study
The Footprint has proven to be an invaluable piece of tech time and time again. Every now and then we get an email saying how the Footprint has helped their lives. Below is an amazing case study of how the Footprint has improved for the care of an individual.
My name is Mrs Rosalind Norbury, from Stockport, and my son Timothy has been using a Footprint from Stockport Homes for about three years now.
lt has been an absolute lifesaver for both Timothy and myself. Timothy has been absconding since the age of 11 and is now 22 years old, so literally half his life 😱.
Before l had the Footprint l just had to drive round and round searching and worrying, before inevitably calling 999. The police are marvellous and got to know Timothy very well but it was a nerve wracking time.
Since Timothy has had the Footprint, it has put my mind at ease so much more, and minimised the danger for Tim. Before the app was available on my phone l would ring Stockport Homes, and Timothy was quickly tracked by the friendly, helpful staff....often within 10-15 minutes. I was helped by the staff, however, for as long as it took to track Timothy, sometimes with the police assisting as well.
Since l have had the app on my phone it is even easier and quicker to locate Tim, and l felt confident that if he absconded l would be able to either find him very soon, or inform the police of his exact whereabouts: a system that has worked well time and time again.
Timothy is now in residential care and wears his Footprint every day. Stuart has been an excellent technical support technician, and personally assisted both myself, on several occasions, with various issues, and the staff at Eden House in Droylsden, where Timothy now resides. Any problems were quickly and efficiently remedied ensuring Timothy's safety at all times.
l have been thoroughly delighted with both the product and the service concerning the Footprint and highly recommend it to anyone.
